Covid-19 vs. People

In 2019, in Wuhan, China, one of the world’s deadliest viruses was discovered called Covid-19, aka Coronavirus.
Covid-19 symptoms include coughs, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills or shaking with chills, muscle pain, headaches, sore throat, and a loss of taste and smell. It can also bring a pain in your chest.
Coronavirus has brought death upon many people. Because of this disaster, many people that work at restaurants and places like that have lost their job. They fight for reopening the U.S. Places all over the world have gone on lockdown. Some places are reopening for real because they weren’t getting enough money to survive. Beaches in Tampa have reopened. Campsites have also reopened.
There are some billionaires who are sending millions of dollars to scientists, doctor’s, and nurses. President Trump is rushing scientist’s to make a vaccine quickly.
This virus is probably harder for kids to deal with who like to go outside, meet with friends, and play a lot of sports. Some parents that work ALL THE TIME, might be grateful for the virus in different ways. They may feel a little more relaxed, and less pressurized and depressed. Parents won’t have to get their child ready for school. They may be able to wake up a little later then usual.

Now let’s talk about something called: SOCIAL DISTANCING. Social distancing is when people should stand at least 6 ft. away from anyone you meet. You should also be wearing masks and gloves.

People everywhere are sanitizing and washing their hands all the time. When you go to stores, the shelves that used to have sanitizers and hand soaps are now EMPTY! (But still, you better clean your hands every now and then!)

People do get scared when they hear about this virus, but just listen to all the rules and you’ll be okay!
